The 2015 Miss Universe winner began modeling at the age of 9 and has been working ever since. Born in Germany to a German father and Filipino mother the actor, model and stylist represented The Philippines at the global event, telling audiences that if she won, she would do her best to raise awareness around the issue of HIV. Wurtzbach has been the host of a popular variety show since 2016. Even though her early years were spent working Wurtzbach caught up on her education by completing her secondary education at ABS-CBN Distance Learning Center.
